Congratulations to Roslyn Hill from Mullum Primary School in Ringwood for reaching an incredible milestone of 40 years of service in Victoria’s state education system.
Roslyn, we are grateful for your work. Over the past four decades you have dedicated yourself to helping so many students reach their potential. Thank you.
Our teachers and education support staff have given so much in our venture to deliver a fantastic education to Victorian students. From the beginning of the pandemic we saw unprecedented pressure on our educators, yet they have achieved so much that was never anticipated. I know all members of the school community are appreciative of your dedication.
Mullum Primary is a fantastic local school in our community of Ringwood, and I am proud to have secured $5.17 million to deliver an upgrade to Mullum Primary. Earlier this year I got to tour the campus and saw for myself how much our students and teachers enjoyed the state-of-the-art facilities.
This $5.17 million upgrade delivered general-purpose classrooms, a resource hub, science and art room, new staff work areas, accessible toilet facilities, storage and first aid rooms, all with a spectacular view of Mount Dandenong.
I again congratulate principal Marie Beale and the school community on this state-of-the-art facility. The Andrews Labor government will continue to back our schools, teachers and students and continue to build the Education State.
And to Roslyn, on behalf of the Ringwood community, I thank you for your service.
